Free State Brewery has been serving up great handcrafted beers in their local brewery in Lawrence, KS since 1989.
At the end of 2020, Free State Brewing Company hired me to redesign and rebuild their 10-year-old website. Working with KC graphic design Preston Brigham, we launched a fresh look that lets the video and photographic work of Marc Havener shine. The back-end offers a broad range of features, including a lightweight, custom-built homepage slideshow; easy scheduling of daily restaurant specials; Shopify store integration; and a vibrant new Beer section with slider controls for hops and ABV quantities that appear on the website as colorful animations.
